My School, My Voice Parent Survey

Parents and guardians of CPS students are invited and encouraged to take a survey about their child’s school. The survey takes about 10-15 minutes to complete and is completely anonymous. 

 The survey will be available from April 16, 2012 - May 11, 2012.  You can take the survey online by following the link below or pick up a paper copy of the survey at your school.

The survey is a great opportunity to provide your thoughts and opinions about your child’s school.  Your feedback will be carefully reviewed and considered by school and District leadership.   Questions asked include topics such as the school’s climate, teacher quality, safety and the facilities at the school.

2011-2012 CPS Science Fair

Congratulations to our students who represented Saucedo at the Pilsen/Little Village Network Science Fair. Eighth Grader JoseManuel H. and 6th grader Enrique C. won honorable mentions. Sixth grader Marcos H. won 1st Prize and will be attending the 6th Grade award luncheon at the City Science Fair at the Museum of Science and Industry in March.

February 1, 2012, was the first annual Digital Learning Day. Watch what Room 341 created to celebrate:

In celebration of Digital Learning Day, the students took an Edmodo poll to choose a 3 word phrase that best describes their thoughts on using technology in the classroom. They chose "Better than Paper". The students the wrote their own 3 word phrase to give more detail about the topic. This idea, "Your 3 Words" , is a featured segment on Good Morning America. It was also sent to CPS edtech.

Chess Academy, Comp Ed 2, and Newton Learning after school programs end May 9. 21st Century AfterSchool ends June 13.
